What type of costs are supported by Tech-and-GO! funding?

  • Basic infrastructure components for Small and Medium Charities. 80% of the supported cost or actual expenditure, whichever is lower, and capped at:

    • Computer: $1,500 per equipment (max 4 units

    • Printer: $300 per equipment (max 2 units)

    • Broadband (multi-user): $1,700 per account (max 1 account)

    • Website Development Costs: $3,000 per charity

    • Firewall Devices: $3,000 per charity

    • Subscription Charges of Video and Audio-Conferencing Tools: $250 per charity

  • Digital solutions to enhance productivity and operational efficiency of Charities

  • 3-year funding capped at $40,000: 1st year 80%, 2nd year 50%, 3rd year 50%

  • Professional fees are funded at 80% (capped at $6,000)

  • The CCF-ICT grant provides co-funding for Charities to harness ICT and digital transformation projects.

    • Purchase/Lease/Hire Purchase/subscription cost

    • Delivery, freight, shipping other transport charges

    • Set-up cost

    • Laptops/tablets/devices integral to solutions

    • User Training, service charges, design fees, administrative fees/charges

    • 3-year funding, capped at $300,000 per charity: 1st Year 80%, 2nd Year 50%, 3rd Year 50%

    • Professional fees are funded at 80% (capped at $6,000)

Tech-and-GO! Fund

  1. NCSS Member or MSF funded service provider, regardless of IPC status.
  2. Have not started the project i.e. have not made any payment or have not signed /confirmed any contract to a supplier, vendor or third party in relation to the purchase/lease/subscription of the solution or equipment applied.

Charities Capability Fund

  1. All exempt and registered charities and IPCs are eligible to apply for the fund, unless otherwise indicated.
  2. Must not receive any funding from other government sources for the same purpose for which CCF funding is sought, unless specifically allowed.
  3. Projects that have commenced (or purchases made, including purchase contracts/engagement letters which the charity entered into with the vendor), before the submission and approval of the CCF application, will not be eligible for funding.

(TNG) is funded by Community Capability Trust (CCT) to support Social Service Agencies (SSAs) in strengthening their digital foundation, developing seamless tech-enabled user experience, and building a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Desired outcome is that SSAs will have the capability and capacity to continuously improve the quality and efficiency of social services and support the sector’s service plans.

Charities Capability Fund (CCF) aims to enhance productivity, operational efficiency, governance and management capabilities of charities and IPCs. Desired outcome is that charities will have the capability and capacity to continuously improve the quality and efficiency of their services and support the sector’s service plans.

SSAs may apply for Go Digital or Grow Digital to enhance existing solutions such as integrating two existing platforms. However, do note that SSAs cannot be funded for similar solutions within 3 years of implementation date.

There is no cap to the number of pre-scoped IT solutions that your agency can apply for. SSAs
are advised to think through end-to-end, integrated needs to determine the IT solutions
needed before application. Regardless of the number of pre-scoped IT solutions applied for,
support will only be up to 80% of the total costs capped at $150,000 per agency, subject to
the availability of funds.

Charities may apply for as many solutions up to the cap of $40,000 per charity for the current CCF tranche from April 2022 to March 2027. However, charities are advised to: a) Think through the requirements (e.g. end-to-end integration between solutions) before applying for the IT solutions; and b) Compile relevant and related tech needs and submit one application to reduce the administrative workload for your charity. Otherwise, you will need to submit multiple applications, and monitor multiple applications progress and claim statuses.

Only IT projects that have not started are eligible for CCF support.

The non-supportable costs are: Extended warranty and Bank charges, including foreign exchange rates.
