How did it begin?
Trent Global College is a private university that specialises in Technology and Built Environment studies. It aims to foster a nurturing environment for individuals of all ages. Birthed as a Built Environment institution, Trent Global adopted its Technology pillar. It was also selected and chosen by the Singapore Government under the IMDA to front run helping Singaporeans and PRs find their calling in the relevant industries of Singapore.
We sat with Alexander to know more.
What is the atmosphere at Trent Global College?
“Most of our students are adult learners, with at least five years of working experience”. Walking through the doors of Trent Global, students are able to meet individuals of all backgrounds. Focused on the institute’s twin engines of Technology and Built Environment, every student comes with a set of goals and leaves with success. ” About one-third of the tech and building industry has passed through our doors”. Alexander marveled the yearly achievements of the institute, helping many from non-related backgrounds get into the relevant sectors.

“Whatever you learn in the classroom, is just as valuable outside with the right balance.” Trent Global College instills a studious learning environment with lecture halls and study rooms/pods; but it also prides in a fun yet relaxing setting with student lounges, game rooms and a gym. “There’s a wide selection of clubs for students to pursue their passion.” One would be able to enjoy events, gatherings and field trips that allow them to apply their skillsets with others.

Trent Global College is a private university set amidst the backdrop of Mountbatten Road, ERCI Campus. Technology and Build Environment courses form the backbone of the institute as it takes experiential learning and innovation to new heights. The institute engages integrated learning with mentors from Carousell, Shopee, BreakTalk, MBS and many more to invest in their students. Alexander mentioned that it is always fulfilling to have students assimilate with such well-known organisations to put the theories they learn in the classroom to good use. A front runner in tech and build environment graduate placement rates, Trent Global welcomes people who live it by continuous learning and contribution to the society.
